Group video conferencing generally allows for the larger group to be seen. As a result you should be more aware of the non-verbal communication. Your posture should indicate that you are interested in the group meeting and that you have an active desire to communicate. Be careful with eye contact, for some cultures eye contact is acceptable while in others it is considered rude. Be aware of body language and facial expressions. If you are not certain then ask for a clarification. Chose a natural view distance and viewing angle if possible.

It is good to remember birthdays, national holidays, thank you notes or other communications to show that you are interested in other team members and care about them. It may be advisable to connect via social networks to find out what is going on with your team. It is important to connect with your team members in ways that you get to know them and their culture.
