Lesson 2: Team Processes

Summary

Establishing strong team practices that involve and commit all team members is critical to a strong functioning team. It will take greater effort and time to discuss these issues as a GV team especially when cultural differences and distance is greater between team members. However, this initial work that clearly structures the GV team, develops team goals and rules, understands others work values and creates clearly defined work practices will produce a stronger team with greater values. The greater initial effort put in by all team members will have clear dividends in how well the team interacts and adapts as team circumstances change and develop.
