Lesson 3: Building and Maintaining Trust

Reflection and Practice

  1. Develop a list of 10-20 questions you can use to begin a conversation w/ an international team member. The questions should cover a broad range of activities and interests. Think of a conversation you might have with a close friend after not seeing him or her for a week. Use some of these questions to begin or sustain a conversation with an international team member.

  2. Write a brief summary of a story from your personal life when you overcame a difficult situation and succeeded. Share this on your personal profile.
