Lesson 3: Building and Maintaining Trust

Trust Building

Meeting and working face-to-face is the best way to establish and build trust. It allows people to participate in activities, assignments and dialogues that build understanding and trust. Unfortunately this is not always possible with GV teams. While some teams will meet at the beginning or conclusion of the project, often team members never meet in person. Members of GV teams need to find unique methods to build and maintain trust using virtual technologies.
